The Linkin Park is a nu metal / rap rock band from Los Angeles. Members of the band :

 Chester Bannington – ( head ) singer , guitar player
 Mike Kenji Shinoda – rapper , guitar player , piano player , vocal
 Joseph Hahn – DJ
 Rob Bourdon – drummer
 Brad Delson – guitar player
 David Michael Farrel – bass guitar player

They sold about 50 million album , and they got two Grammy-prize.

In the first years (1996-1999): The Linkin Park was based in 1996 ( maybe ) by 3 young pupil : Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon.Later joined to the band : Joe Hahn, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell,Mark Wakefield.The band name was Xero.After 1999 the band name was changed , so they were the Hybrid Theory.After that Mark Wakefield finished his singer karrier, and Chester Bannington joined to the band so they had a new name : Linkin Park.

Later they became a very famous and succesful band.Their either best album the Hybrid Theory .
