Title: The great industry of Cehegín

Description: This image represents one of the most prosperous industries in Cehegín, the factory of San Marino, where you can cut and prepare to transport the marble to the rest of Spain and parts of Europe. There are many unique kinds of marble extracted from our quarries and some of them like the red marble is quite appreciated around the world.

Photo Workshop, spain.

That is a very famous street in the old part in Cehegín, because it goes from the Magdalena’s church to the Column’s House. Also we can see two women sit, talking about themselves and gossiping. It is something normal between neighbours in Cehegín.

This photo was taken during the afternoon as well, but not at dusk, in the afternoon’s middle, in a sunny day, but we can’t appreciate it because the houses don’t let the sun enter.

This is one of the oldest alleys in Cehegín. It is located in the old part in Cehegín in which are normal streets like these. Most of them go to the Magdalena’s church taking a short cut and also most of them are blind alleys. This alley has a few stairs because Cehegín is a town which has a lot of slopes.

This photo was taken during the afternoon, at dusk, in a sunny day.

“Weavers of light”

The artist is Nicolas de Maya. The name of his sculpture is “Weavers of light” and is a monument of Cehegín. The sculpture is a tribute to Cehegín and its history.
The sculpture allows anyone to see how two feet walk on the story, written by all the surnames of Cehegineros. The sculpture represents a man’s foot and another woman’s foot. The feet are made of resin and fibreglass. “Weavers of light” is a magical piece made to be seen in a car or walk so the effect will be a man's foot and a woman's foot walking.

“Surnames of Cehegineros"

This work is a work of Nicolás de Maya in which you want to pay tribute to all cehegineros through their surnames. one day before we were thinking that we could choose monuments, we select many and one of them was this big sheet that is reflected in all cehegineros last names, so we decided to go to photograph radius east of town, were all afternoon driving around town to get the best pictures, so we did this it's best, was very easy to make it just had to go around and pick up the camera, Antonio was behind the well-focused round the back of the sheet with the rest of it and people of substance and photographed. We did more shots but this was the best.
