Black Eyed Peas Biography.

This multi-ethnic rap band from Los Angeles joined artists such as Black Star, Jurassic 5 and the broken front of the musical and cultural rebirth of hip-hop in the late twentieth century. The manifesto of Will.I.Am (born March 15, 1975), Apl.de.Ap (born November 28, 1974) and Taboo (born July 14, 1975) is evident. They want to unite musical communities to create catchy songs while maintaining their integrity hardcore. Will.I.Am and Ap Apl.de met in 1989 while attending the eighth grade and began playing in the district of Los Angeles under the name Atban Clan. A frustrated recording contract with Ruthless Records left them slump, but in 1995 enrolled under the new name Taboo Black Eyed Peas, and finally signed with Interscope Records.

The trio's debut in 1988, Behind The Front, took the musical aesthetic of Roots, with the three MCs rapping in front of a live band along with samples and scratching to create a beat driven and organic. Singer Macy Gray was involved in an issue, and repeated the favor two years later the trio's second album, Bridging The Gap.Attached to their style, this great album confirmed that the Black Eyed Peas are the musical and spiritual heirs of A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul.
